SMS Opt-In Program
RingUntil reminder texts — how consent works
RingUntil, operated by Knightbook LLC, sends reminder text messages only to the account holder's own verified phone number. Nobody else is ever texted. This page documents the complete opt-in flow and the exact messages we send.
1. The account holder adds their own number
In account settings, the user enters their own phone number. This is the call to action exactly as it appears in the app — the consent disclosure sits directly below the form:
Text alerts
Get your reminder nags by text as well as email. We'll text a code to verify it's your number.
By verifying, you agree to receive recurring reminder texts from RingUntil at this number. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
Non-functional replica of the form at ringuntil.com/account (sign-in required); markup and disclosure text are identical to the live app.
2. We text a verification code
3. Entering the code completes opt-in
Typing the code back into the app proves the number belongs to the account holder and records their consent with a timestamp. We confirm by text:
4. Reminder texts (only to that verified number)
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts immediately — we confirm the unsubscribe and send nothing further. Reply START to rejoin, or HELP for help. The number can also be removed in account settings at any time.
